Contributing to the work of the Kingdom is one of the most satisfying experiences a person can have. We want everyone in Coast Community to use their God-given gifts in meaningful and effective ways in the life of the church. As the bible talks about, the church is a body made up of many different functioning parts, but together it can accomplish much. So we have identified many of these different functions which people can apply their different gifts and passions to. Below is a “Beyond Me” ministry opportunities form which you can download, complete and return so to express your interest in “test driving” an area of ministry.
Completing this form does not obligate yourself, or the church, to a lifelong commitment to this activity but rather just expresses an interest in finding out more and your consideration to trialling or “test driving” that ministry for a time. Completing this form is the first step in a conversation with a ministry team member or ministry leader into your desire and suitability to that ministry area. One of these leaders will be in contact with you soon to discuss your expression of interest. Working for the sake of God’s Kingdom is a team activity and we love all who form part of the various Coast Community teams. We would love to include you in that team as well. Not only is volunteering a great way to live beyond yourself but is also a great way of getting connected in Coast Community and getting to know other people as well. If you would like to discuss to possibly entering into a position of leadership at Coast Community, as distinct from a “see a need, fill a need” type activity, please refer to our Leadership Expectations booklet, which gives details of what is expected of all ministry team and voluntary leaders in our church. Download the form below to review our Leadership Expectations.
Also below is the application form to become a Youth Leader. If you wish to explore becoming a Youth Leader please just complete this form and return it to Melody Potter, our Youth Pastor, or the church office. |
